My client is a world leading provider of premium Public Training Courses, eLearning and In-house Training Solutions, is looking for a permanent/full time Senior Course Manager to manage end-to-end logistics of their in-house training courses. The sectors covered include all areas of finance, law, energy and interpersonal skills; plus, new verticals in infrastructure, government, metals and mining, and insurance helping the clients to facilitate change in their business, enhance the skills of their employees.


Role overview… As the Senior Course Manager you would be predominantly focused on tailored learning solutions, which are programmes designed to meet a specific organisation’s exact needs. There may also be cross over with the public training courses.

As the Senior Course Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end event management of in-house course logistics, taking responsibility for a share of the portfolio of around 450 in-house training courses per year across the UK, EMEA and US regions.


Managing around 200 courses a year, from point of contract to completion, you will be responsible for hands-on delivery of the courses. You should ensure that both financial targets and operational successes are achieved and will be responsible for managing the financial aspect of the courses, from invoicing to budgeting and chasing payment.


You must have an excellent track record in event management with exceptional administrative skills and an eye for detail, as you will be accountable for overall logistics, from the organisation of the trainers travel, to co-ordination with the client. You must be customer service oriented and have excellent people management skills and comfortable working alongside board level faculty and delegates, external suppliers and internal Sales Managers.


The successful candidate must be educated to a degree level, with strong skills in building relationships with faculty, suppliers and clients. A high level of autonomous working with minimal supervision is essential. At least 2 – 3 years previous experience as a logistics co-ordinator, ideally including international courses is preferred. The ideal candidate must have strong administration and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, proven time management experience and ability to remain highly motivated while working in a busy environment.
