My client is a global brand with over 1200 employees worldwide & a leading innovator of world class conferences to the Finance & Banking space, as part of growth within the finance division a role has arisen for a talented Conference/Content specialist to work on a large-scale event, the candidate will create, direct and deliver thought-leading event products through market research, working closely with senior-level executives from the finance space.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive research with the industry and align market trends to the event products.
  • Produce compelling conference agendas and recruit high-level speakers, maintaining a position of credibility by producing the best events in the industry.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key professionals, industry leaders, senior executives and media within the market and develop leads for speaker acquisition.
  • Work with the editorial team, Industry Leads and Product Owners to draw together expert knowledge.
  • Write copy for events products including marketing emails and other marketing initiatives communicating the brands mission and event goals/purpose.
  • Help generate leads through market research for the sales team to pursue.
  • Generating topics ideas for new events and assessing commercial viability of new products
  • Manage onsite/online delivery of content at physical and virtual events.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experienced conference producer with strong editing and writing skills.
  • Confident in conducting phone and desk research with senior executives to identify market challenges/developments.
  • Experienced in copywriting and producing content-driven conference agendas or similar.
  • Experience of having delivered and managed growth in conference revenues.
  • Demonstrable experience in creating new events from scratch understanding the commercial viability of new products.
  • Travel in the UK/Europe/USA required when we are able to run physical events.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
