An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and creative Digital Marketing Manager to join my clients growing marketing team. The successful candidate will help to plan, organise and execute innovative digital marketing campaigns across the Africa & LatAm portfolios of international conferences in locations such as Barcelona, Miami and Brazil. As well as working on a leading portfolio of events, you will also have the opportunity to own and drive the strategy and execution of corporate marketing projects.


The Candidate:

Supported by the Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and implementation of exceptional digital marketing campaigns, delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have brilliant attention to detail, be highly creative and an excellent team player with the ability to manage multiple projects to a high standard. At least three years’ experience of a B2B events role is essential.



  • Planning and delivering cross-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Managing and segmenting data, identifying gaps, developing new data sources and implementing data build & refresh plans
  • Using marketing technology to craft exceptional customer journeys and qualify leads
  • Overseeing the structure, implementation & optimisation of sales data plans
  • Developing innovative, revenue-generating ideas for campaigns in the portfolio
  • Providing ongoing and post-campaign effectiveness reports and recommend ongoing improvements
  • Using digital channels and technologies to enhance online presence of the business
  • Maintaining and updating conference websites
  • Managing the design, production and distribution of all promotional materials
  • Writing and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms & materials including websites, social media, emails and brochures
  • Assisting with the PR activity relating to the conference portfolio, researching material for press releases, building relationships with relevant press and partners



Skills & Knowledge:

  • A proven track record of implementing successful campaigns for B2B events and conferences
  • Proven use and understanding of complex databases and segmentation techniques
  • Highly literate in digital marketing practices and channels such as Google Analytics, SEO, PPC, programmatic campaigns and paid and organic social media campaigns
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills to interrogate data and draw conclusions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding copywriting skills with the ability to write clear, concise copy for all forms of marketing communications including emails, brochures and press releases
  • Experience using a CRM system such as Salesforce
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen interest in progressing within a digital marketing role
