My client is a major PLC to the Financial Media Industry with many years heritage, an exciting role has arisen for a Conference Producer to work on a series of digital/hybrid/live events within the Finance & Legal space working across LATAM, North America & Europe regions.

The Role will involve…

  • Conduct extensive research with the industry and align market trends to the event products
  • Produce conference agendas and recruit speakers
  • Work closely with the Director to develop and refine conference programmes and the value proposition.
  • Work with editorial team, Industry Leads and Product Owners to draw together expert knowledge.
  • Deliver product and market event briefs that identify purpose of the event, USPs, commercial and marketing opportunities, and market maps.
  • Liaise closely with Event Marketing and Product Marketing to identify and develop audience, meeting delegate revenue and delegate number targets.
  • Work with Global Head of Sales, Commercial Directors and Business Development Managers to meet sales targets.
  • Help generate leads through market research for the sales team to pursue.
  • Work closely with operations in managing costs associated with product features to hit GP targets.
  • Introduce new event features to improve the onsite / online delegate experience and generate new revenue.
  • Manage onsite / online delivery of content at conferences and webinars.




Experience & Skills Required…


  • Has conducted qualitative research and analysis.
  • Has worked with customers to meet their needs.
  • Some experience in copywriting and producing conference agendas or similar.
  • Experience of successfully reformatting physical events as online/hybrid equivalents.
  • Idea generation – lead client-led innovation and research into producing new events and new formats.



  • Has worked with a project team to meet objectives and targets.
  • Has worked with a sales team.
  • Knowledge of the following industries: legal (especially tax, IP, financial law, litigation), M&A, corporate governance, activism
  • Experience in producing events with a membership / subscription model.
  • Experience in running digital events and / or pivoting physical events to virtual.
